It's dissy time!

I've finally started my dissertation! It seems like months since I first started planning it and now I'm finally conducting experiments - it's loads of fun.

Things I've learnt this week:

1. Participants turn up late or at the very last minute.
2. I did exactly the same during my first two years.
3. Participants need instructions for EVERYTHING, including where to sit, and
always explain everything in detail.
4. Ice cubes melt really slowly whereas shaved ice changes the temperature in seconds.
5. 7 degrees is actually REALLY cold.
6. Ice still melts when it's in a cold box.
7. I worry about things too much.
8. Experimental Psychology IS fun!
